Quick one today. It's New Year's Eve. But I want to share something that might reframe how you think about tonight. The human brain is a funny thing. Incredibly smart in some ways. Embarrassingly easy to trick in others. And you can use this to your advantage. There are two phenomena that explain why today feels different: The End Effect: We assign disproportionate meaning to endings. The last day of the year feels heavier, more significant, more final than December 30th. Even though it's just another Tuesday. The Fresh Start Effect: We're wired to see temporal landmarks (new year, new month, new week, even Monday) as psychological reset points. A chance to separate our "past self" from our "future self." This is why New Year's resolutions feel powerful. Not because January 1st is actually different from December 31st. But because your brain treats it like a clean slate. Now, I know what you're thinking. "Resolutions don't work. Everyone gives up by February." But here's the thing: even a few weeks of progress is better than zero. And the people who "fail" at resolutions usually fail because they didn't have systems to support the change. Not because fresh starts don't work. So tonight, when the clock strikes midnight and something in your brain whispers "this year could be different"... listen to it. That instinct is real. It's useful. And if you pair it with actual systems instead of just willpower, the results can stick. This is the software I personally use and it already has all my systems baked in. Grab it through this link and I’ll give you my full system free, and you’ll get 50% off your first three months as well. Here's the link if you're brand new -> New? Last year I had a conversation with a chiropractor who was spending $3,000 a month on ads. Good ads, actually. The leads were coming in. Twenty, thirty new inquiries a week. On paper, everything looked great. But here's what was actually happening: those leads would hit his inbox around 2pm. He'd see them at 6pm after his last adjustment. He'd tell himself he'd follow up tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning would get busy. By the time he actually reached out (sometimes two or three days later),...
I'm always a bit nervous to tell this story. Because the way I did things is probably not the way I'd recommend to you or anyone I care about. But it's hard to argue with the results. And there's something strange that happens to the human brain when you commit fully and burn the boats. Here's the short version: I used to be a pilot. Business jets. Sounds glamorous, right? The problem is, the whole point of being a pilot is flying away somewhere. And I'm a homebody. I like my routine. I like...
I want to tell you about something I've never really talked about publicly. A few years ago, I was in Nice, France for a work trip. Beautiful city. Great food. And just 20 minutes away from Monaco. The Monaco Grand Prix was happening that weekend. If you know anything about Formula 1, you know Monaco is the race. The most prestigious track on the calendar. Cars screaming through narrow streets, inches from the barriers. I'd wanted to see it in person my entire life. And I was right there....
